My experience with Meross Smart LED bedside lamp
I have been using the Meross Smart LED bedside lamp in our bedroom for several weeks now. In this article, I’ll tell you everything you need to know about this very useful smart home component and my experience with the Meross Smart LED Bedside Lamp. I can already say in the introduction that this Meross device convinced me because of its easy installation and intuitive operation. Few bells and whistles, but a solid product.
First impression
The Meross Smart LED bedside lamp in an optimal package and is actually a bit larger than I imagined. The materials make a good impression at first glance and the workmanship is absolutely clean. Meross bedside lamp measures 12 x 12 x 17 cm and comes with three components: Power supply, cable and lamp. This also allows the device to be plugged directly into a USB socket.

Design
The design is very functional and its shape is somewhat reminiscent of an egg, but with a flat top edge. With the shapely and rounded edges, the Ambient Light fits very nicely into any room. The device also looks very nice on a nightstand next to the bed.
Installation
After unpacking, you can directly connect the power adapter and the cable to the Smart LED bedside lamp. After that, the device will blink several times and is thus ready to connect to Wi-Fi.

The installation is done within a few minutes. If you have purchased the HomeKit version, you can easily scan the QR code. Another tip: If the connection to the Wi-Fi does not work when a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi is available. If you have both a 2.4 GHz and a 5 GHz Wi-Fi in operation and the smartphone is connected to the 5GHz network, the connection may not work. Then the 5 GHz WiFi must be deactivated on the router. Then restart the installation process and the connection will work.
Functionality
Meross Smart LED bedside lamp has all the features that such a device needs. I miss absolutely no function and can cover all my needs:

- Easy control with the app
- HomeKit compatible and thus also controllable from anywhere
- White tones from 2700K to 6500K
- Dimmable
